My work as founding engineer and Head of Engineering spans the application, the infrastructure, and the team delivering it.

Dex V5 & teams

Recent work includes rewriting Dex in React for Dex V5, alongside Dex for teams.

REST API v2

The new REST API adds idempotency and better error handling, and serves as the entry point for the MCP Server.

Tools for agents

Recent work includes the MCP Server and a plugin for ChatGPT. Alongside Dex’s CLI and dedicated skill, these give people and agents ways to work with the product beyond its web interface.

The foundation

Earlier work included rebuilding the application on Vue.js and Hasura, moving to a Fastify and Postgres backend with pub/sub workers, and building payments and Gmail/Calendar sync.

That history also includes CI/CD with Turborepo and GitHub Actions, and helping launch Dex, Rolodex, and Lebra.

The team

Alongside the technical work, I’ve led engineering and hiring. Building the product and building the team have gone hand in hand.
